APPX_ISKEYSEG

Overrides the normal APPX behavior of trying to consolidate multiple key segments. Instead, if this variable is set, APPX forms key segments in the way Vision does through ACUCOBOL. If Create Files in Database Management fails by returning to Database Management without creating the files selected, setting this variable may correct the error. Likewise, if you receive the APPX error FMFI.C “can't empty pfb list”, setting this variable may correct the error.

APPX_VISION_LOCKS_PER_FILE

Specifies the maximum number of locks per file, per process. You may need to increase this to 20 or greater for applications containing complex processes that use CISAM files. This variable is available beginning with APPX 3.2.4.

APPX_VISION_MAXFILES

Specifies the maximum number of open files in the Vision file system. You may need to increase this to 255 or greater for applications containing complex processes which use CISAM files. This variable is available beginning with APPX 3.2.4.

APPX_VISION_MAXLOCKS

Specifies the maximum number of record locks per process. You may need to increase this to 40 or greater for applications containing complex processes which use CISAM files. This variable is available beginning with APPX 3.2.4.
