Fields Security

When you press ENTER from the Files Security definition screen, a screen appears which displays all fields within the selected file as shown in Figure 5-5. Each field can be edited for security unless it is protected by a domain security code.

The following fields are available for input:

Read

Specifies the security code that must be included in a user’s profile for the user to see the contents of the field. If blank and not protected by a domain security code, APPX uses the Read security code entered for the file.

Modify

Specifies the security code that must be included in a user’s profile for the user to modify the contents of the field. If blank and not protected by a domain security, APPX uses the Modify security code entered for the file.
