Open DMO Data File Management

The following route provides the database and application context used in the screenshots.

1. From the APPX main menu, choose Design an Application.
2. Select application DMO, version 00. If the chooser contains many applications, enter DMO in its application filter, use Set Filter, and open DMO.
3. Open the Tools tab and choose File Management under Physical File Management.
4. Enter database DMO and accept the database entry. Confirm that Application is DMO and that its description is Demo Application.
5. Open File Selection before running a utility. Check the selected-file count each time you return to Data File Management.

These exercises use database DMO, application DMO, version 00. Use the appropriate identifiers for your own database and application. Do not confuse the application version with the database ID.
