Check the Access Import Result

The fresh Access import did not complete. A separate successful direct-query client on this same stack is Excel, which still has the Unicode text limitation. The nearest verified full-value Access import is the 5.5.3 32-bit configuration with the 6.2.1 x86 Dharma 14.01 driver. That older engine/gateway combination does not establish a repair for this 64-bit stack.

The bounded reproduction used a new blank database and External Data, New Data Source, Other Sources, ODBC Database, Import. Machine Data Source AppxODBC authenticated and displayed its table picker. Selecting appx.dmo_dmo_country left Import Objects at Importing for more than two minutes. Cancel did not complete, and the actual dialog displayed Not Responding. Only the identified Access test process was stopped; its database was preserved.

The fresh native Access import remains at Importing and displays Not Responding.

No repeat-to-fix workaround or component cause is established. Earlier Access linking and pass-through-count observations are different routes and do not pass this fresh import or full-value acceptance.
