When to Create or Update SQL Table Definitions

Import when first making a file available to SQL or after a relevant APPX dictionary change. Ordinary record additions do not require re-import. Preserve custom SQL names, views, indexes and edited scripts before regenerating metadata. Close readers and follow the site's maintenance procedure when replacing a definition.
