The Transaction Processing menu

The Transaction processing menu lists many of the functions used during the routine operation of the Order Entry application.

Data entry functions are used to enter orders and confirm shipments. Journals must be printed for invoices before posting. These journals provide an audit trail and verification of the entries. Orders are only posted to files after journals have been printed without error. Use these selections to enter sales orders, confirm shipments, print forms, and post invoices.
