The Application Translator: overview

With the system level translations completed, you are ready to start translating applications. Each application is translated on an individual basis. You can translate all, several, or even just one application depending on which applications are used in multilingual environments. Perhaps just your order entry application is used in your international offices. If so, it may be the only one you wish to translate. All it takes is four easy steps:

Create the translator’s design files.
Set the application’s design language.
Create the dictionary from the application’s design files.
Define translations for the dictionary entries created above.
