Fix the ASQL System Directory Error
A fresh APPX installation must finish its normal first-start configuration and licensing before ASQL is used. In this clean 5.5.2 test, normal startup generated 0SA\Struct\SYSDIR.dat; no manual structure repair was needed.
If ASQL reports Can't open file, check the intended APPX installation, service-account permissions, and the generated structure alongside the existing system data. An absent generated structure is different from a missing APPX file definition. The 5.5.4 troubleshooting example shows a controlled, one-file structure-generation repair. Use the matching release's System Administration and preserve existing data; do not initialize or scratch system files to repair a structure.
