Network Install for Shared Access

If you are installing appx/ODBC for use by multiple end users, it can be inconvenient to have to run asql repeatedly for each users PC. The preferred method is to install appx/ODBC in a shared directory, accessible by all users and known by the same drive letter. Simply install appx/ODBC as usual, but override the installation directory to point to this shared drive.

When you (or any user) runs asql to import file definitions, all users will see them.
