Accessing Local Files

If your APPX files are on your local PC (not a remote server), then you must either define the environment variable APPXPATH, or create a ‘appx.env’ file in the root directory of drive c: that contains the definition for APPXPATH. APPXPATH should point at the location of your APPX data files.

For example, in AUTOEXEC.BAT, you would put:

set APPXPATH=c:\appx\data

In ‘c:\appx.env’ you would have a line that reads:

appxpath=c:\appx\data
