APPX Options

As described previously, you initiate any action in APPX by selecting an option button. On a menu, each button represents an option. An option may be a report, a file maintenance input process, or other predefined task.

In addition, there are several predefined options in APPX that you may select at any time to initiate a particular action. These options are represented by the icons located on the APPX Tool Bar. Some of these options cause you to move between or into processes in your application or to perform specific tasks. Some of the options are applicable only to specific types of processes, while others are always available. The remaining sections of this manual describe these options, including when you might use them and exactly what the result will be.
