Decide What to Install on Each Computer

Role	Work to complete
Gateway administrator	Install and configure the gateway, then maintain its shared SQL dictionary.
APPX administrator or developer	Use ASQL to make the required APPX file definitions available through that dictionary.
Excel, Access, WinSQL or report user	Install the client driver and configure `AppxODBC`; follow the relevant client recipe after the administrator has imported the definitions.

Routine users do not import the same definitions again on every desktop. Install the gateway and ASQL, then read what ASQL does and who needs it before importing COUNTRY.

Complete the gateway setup and data-source check, then check the sample before moving to a client recipe. Each recipe includes its expected result.
