When you select the Archive Security Codes for ALL Apps option from the Security menu, a screen appears as shown in Figure 2-56 below:

This option archives all security codes in all defined applications to a central archive file* found in System Administration. This archiving is required prior to using the View Uses of This Code option in Security Profiles File Maintenance or to running the Security Profile Cross-Reference List.
Since the current contents of the archive file will be lost when archiving begins, you must elect to proceed with the archive or to exit without archiving.
*Note: The Archived Security Codes file (SECRARCV) is also used by Security Management Utilities found within Application Security Management, which include Security Lists, Clear Security Codes, Archive Security Codes, and Post Security Codes from Archive.
