Chapter 3-15: Using GUI Features of the Image Editor
Using Guide Bars
Guide bars are used by the APPX designer to align objects on an image. They can be created and moved using these instructions:
- Use the right-click menu (see the Image Editor Right-Click Menu) to create vertical and horizontal guide bars.
- When the mouse is positioned over a horizontal guide bar, the cursor changes to an up/down move cursor that you can use to click and drag the guide bar to a new location on the image.
- When the mouse is positioned over a vertical guide bar, the cursor changes to a left/right move cursor that you can use to click and drag the guide bar to a new location.
- You can remove a guide bar (either vertical or horizontal) by dragging it off the screen.
