.POINT ADD NEWThis subroutine adds a new Point to the "current" Dataset.Usage:PASS <dataset_point_value1> FIELD SHARE? N PASS <dataset_point_value2> FIELD SHARE? N PASS <dataset_point_value3> FIELD SHARE? N GOSUB 0CD .POINT ADD NEW * check for error IF 0CD .POINT ADD NEW NE Description:This subroutine adds a new Point to the "current" Dataset. The dataset must have been previously initialized via .DATASET INITIALIZE before you can add data. If you are working with more than one dataset at a time, you can select which one is the "current" dataset via .DATASET SET CURRENT before using this subroutine. If you are making a Pie chart, you can also add data via .PIE SECT ADD NEXT. That routine will create a default dataset for you (if necessary) and allow you to assign a label to the value all in one step.
You must PASS <dataset_point_value1>, otherwise the routine will Cancel. You must also pass as many <dataset_point_values> as there are dimensions in your dataset (based on what you specified when you initialized the dataset).
The newly added data point is set to be the "current" data point.
See Datasets Overview for more information on working with data.
