.FILE DELETE

This subroutine is called to remove a file from the filesystem.


Usage:

      PASS         <error_message>            FIELD            SHARE? Y
      PASS         <pathname>                 FIELD            SHARE? N
      GOSUB    --- .FILE DELETE
      *        check for errors
      IF       --- .FILE DELETE               NE

Description:

This subroutine is called to remove a file from the filesystem. Both parameters are required, and the subroutine will CANCEL if they are not received.

<error_message> contains additional error information if the command fails (Required). Must be PASSed with Share "Y".

<pathname> is the file to be deleted (Required). This must be a specific file, wildcards are not supported.

If --- .FILE DELETE is not blank, you can check <error_message> for more information.
