Syntax

RADIANS ( expression )

Description

The scalar function RADIANS returns the number of radians in an angle specified in degrees by expression.

Example

SELECT RADIANS(180) 'Radians in 180 degrees'
     FROM SYSTPE.SYSCALCTABLE;

Notes

• expression specifies an angle in degrees
• expression must evaluate to a numeric data type.
