Chapter 4-4: The ILF Editor

The ILF editor includes many features that allow you to manage statements and ILF routines. With the ILF editor, you can:

· Create new ILF routines by selecting the desired event point option from one of the process component definition screens.

· Create stand-alone subroutine processes.

· Recall existing ILF routines and modify them.

· Edit (add, change, delete) statements with a full-screen editing facility that provides entry format “templates” as a guide.

· Copy existing routines to use as a starting point for developing similar routines.

· “Drill down” to view or edit fields referenced by the current process. This is accomplished by selecting the referenced field, then selecting option 94. Upon exiting the referenced field, you are returned to the original process.
