Invoking the ILF Editor

You invoke the ILF editor from within the context of process definition by selecting the appropriate Rules option displayed near the bottom of the screen. The editor automatically associates the statements you enter with the process/event point you selected. Figure 4-4-1 is an example of a Rules overlay where you may choose to invoke the editor. Note that only the event points that currently contain ILF statements are highlighted.

The ILF routine you develop is “attached” to the appropriate process and event point within your application, so that it is invoked when an end user runs the process.
