Chapter 4-4: The ILF Editor

The ILF includes an integrated ILF editor that allows you to create, modify, and delete individual statements, sections of ILF routines, and entire routines. When you are finished with your work on an ILF routine, APPX automatically takes care of compiling the routine when an end user first executes the process from a runtime menu. You do not need to perform a separate step to compile a routine. This automatic compilation translates the source statements you enter into optimized internal instructions that APPX uses when a process executes.
