Effect of Repeating Frames on Event Point Chronology

If the ALTERNATE IMAGE NUMBER predefined field is not set to 0 before Select Image completes, APPX executes a repeating frame in the normal (non-repeating) sequence. However, instead of executing End of Frame, APPX re-executes Select Image. In each repetition, a different alternate image can be selected.

This cycle repeats until the ALTERNATE IMAGE NUMBER predefined field is set to 0 before Select Image completes, in which case, APPX immediately executes End of Frame; it does not execute the Global Pre-Display or Global Option Intercept event points, or any of the image-related event points.
