Command Process Invocation

A specific APPX process can be invoked from an operating system command. The database, application, process type, and process name are specified as part of the command. Refer to the Installation Guide for specific details on command syntax. Upon completion of the specified process, APPX ends.

This technique can also be used to execute processes in a background queue. If APPX is executed in the background, any terminal screen outputs will be processed as though the user pressed end.
