.TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ:H

This subroutine sets the maximum height of the text that can be displayed in the "current" Text Object.

Usage:

      PASS         <max_lines>                FIELD            SHARE? N
      GOSUB 0CD .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ:H
      *        Check for error
      IF 0CD .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ:H NE

Description:

This subroutine sets the maximum number of lines of text that can be displayed in the "current" Text Object. If the text requires more than <max_lines>, the text will be truncated, with the last visible characters replaced with "...".

The parameter is optional, if blank or not passed it will be reset to the default value.

<max_lines> is the maximum number of lines of text. Allowed range is 1-99.

See .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ to set the height and width simultaneously or .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ:W to set the maximum width.

NOTE: You cannot set <max_text_lines> unless you also set the width via .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ or .TEXT SET TXT MAX SZ:W. If you do not set width, the setting for <max_text_lines> will be ignored.
