.CONVERT HEX PR TO NUM

This subroutine converts a hex pair of alpha characters to a decimal number.

Usage:

    PASS        <decimal_number>          FIELD           SHARE? Y
    PASS        <hex pair>                FIELD           SHARE? N
    GOSUB   --- .CONVERT HEX PR TO NUM
     *       Check for errors
    IF      --- .CONVERT HEX PR TO NUM    NE

Description:

This subroutine converts a hex pair of alpha characters to a decimal number. Both parameters are required, the subroutine will CANCEL if they are not PASSed.

<decimal_number> returns decimal value of <hex_pair> (Required). This must be PASSed with Share "Y" to return the value.

<hex_pair> is the hex pair you want converted to decimal (Required). This must contain exactly 2 characters that are in the range of 00-FF.
