Installation of APPX 5.0.0 may also require that you install Open SSL on your APPX server.

After you install APPX, you will need to go to Design File Management in System Administration and run Create Files for each of your applications. This will create the new design files that are needed by APPX 5.0.0.
The first time you enter into Application Design for an application, APPX will automatically synchronize the Widget file for the application. All "Raw Text" widgets in Output processes will be converted to be Label widgets.

If you enable the APPX Login Manager Service to use SSL logins or if you enable the APPXIO file encryption option, you must have a current copy of OpenSSL installed on your system. APPX will automatically find the necessary OpenSSL libraries if they are installed into the usual locations with the usual names. However, if APPX can't find the necessary libraries, you can set an environment variable to tell APPX where to find the SSL libraries.
