      PASS         <stream_name>              FIELD            SHARE? N
      GOSUB    --- .STREAM WRITE
      *        check for errors
      IF       --- .STREAM WRITE              NE

Description:

This subroutine is called to write data to a file stream previously opened for WRITE or APPEND access via.STREAM OPEN.
