Subroutine Process Concepts

Subroutine processes define reusable procedural programs that execute from other APPX processes. The subroutine process is essentially a means of grouping a number of statements that can execute as a unit.

You can execute a subroutine:

• As a child of another APPX process.
• From an event point in another process with a COPY, SUBR or GOSUB statement.
