The Users Identities overlay accessed from the Users File Maintenance screen is shown in Figure 2-50 below. It is used to establish an "identity" for storing login information needed for various external resources. (See the Identities section for an explanation of how identities are used.) The login information is stored by FMS Group/User combination and can be accessed from this overlay or from the Identities overlay within File System Groups File Maintenance. You can add, delete, or change this information in either place.
Figure 2-50. Users Identities Overlay
The Users Identities overlay contains the following fields:
· FMS Group specifies the name of a file management system (FMS) group.
· FMS specifies the type of ISAM (Indexed-Sequential Access Method) used in the file management system. See File System Groups File Maintenance for a list of valid FMS values.
· Expire Date specifies the date this identity is no longer valid.
· Active? can be toggled between “yes” and “no”
to indicate whether this identity is active or not. This allows you to retain inactive identities that may be needed again in the future.
When you press Enter from this screen, an overlay appears which allows entry of User ID, realm, and password. See the Identities Detail overlay within File System Groups File Maintenance for more information.
