Chapter 4-5: The Debugger

The ILF debugger includes many features that allow you to test the logic of ILF routines. Within the debugger, you can:

· Watch the effect that a single statement or group of statements has on specific field values.

· Execute a routine one statement at a time.

· Dynamically set and clear break points to interrupt a routine at a point where you want to review and analyze it.

· Dynamically enter called subroutines and use the debugger in the called subroutines.

· Modify field values in accordance with known or desired expectations.
