Using Guide Bars

Guide bars are used by the APPX designer to align objects on an image. They can be created and moved using these instructions:

·    Use the right-click menu (see the Right-Click Menu later in this chapter) to create vertical and horizontal guide bars.

·    When the mouse is positioned over a horizontal guide bar, the cursor changes to an up/down move cursor, allowing you to click and drag the guide bar to a new location on the image.

·    When the mouse is positioned over a vertical guide bar, the cursor changes to a left/right move cursor that you use to click and drag the guide bar to a new location.

·    You can remove a guide bar (either vertical or horizontal) by dragging it off the screen.
