Menu Process Optional Processes Option

Selecting this option accesses the Optional Child Processes specification screen shown in Figure 3-4-6 that defines attributes to govern the discretionary invocation of another APPX process from the menu process image. These specifications include the name of the child process, the invocation type, and whether or not various activities at the child level affect the parent process.

Upon completion, you are returned to the Menu Processes screen. See Chapter 3-13: Automatic and Optional Children for detailed information on defining optional child processes.
