4.1) How can a user email report output like under UNIX?

Changed:

To use OPT-7 to email report output, you need to have UNIX-style
'mailx' and 'cat' commands somewhere in the PATH of the APPX
executable on the server (to find out what this is, check the
System PATH variable setting in NT).

Where to get these commands? Most "UNIX commands for NT" packages
would probably have equivalents that might work. CANSYS West
offers 'mailx' and 'cat' commands on their web page, which will
send any reports less than 1K in size as a text message, and
reports greater than 1K as an attachment. They say this set of
commands will allow emailing of reports using any MAPI compliant
mail system (this includes most popular PC email systems).

To get this software, go to http://www.cansyswest.com/free.htm

Since the CANSYS-provided mailx and cat commands are third party
software, APPX Software does not endorse, support or troubleshoot
their use.
