Media Player Widget

A Media Player Widget has been implemented in APPX 5.2.0.

The text field should contain a path to a media file (avi, mp3, mp4, etc). For non Windows clients, you will need the VLC Video player installed on the client in order for this option to work. You can download the viewer from http://www.videolan.org/vlc.

Design Usage:

Use the Image Editor to add a text field to your image and resize it to be the size that you would like for your Media Player Widget. Then edit the GUI Attributes of the field and select "MEDIA PLAYER" as the control.

Runtime Usage:

At runtime, the specified video will automatically run. The bottom of the widget includes playback controls.
