Client Window Sizing and ScalingNew client options give you more control over window sizing and scalingOverview:The new client options allow you to control whether or not the window contents scale when the window is resized, as well as allow you to control the automatic sizing of the window.Using the new Client OptionsYou can set mainWindowScrollPane=true and if you leave autoFontScaling=true then the window contents to scale to fit window as they did before. If you set autoFontScaling=false then no scaling will take place and you will get scrollbars when needed. You can set resizeMainWindowPane to "true" to turn on the option to automatically resize the client window to fit the current frame/image size. The window will only increase in size up to the maximum rows and columns specified in client preferences. For example, if you set this option to "true" and set your maximum rows/columns to 35 x 128, your existing processes will appear to run unchanged (assuming they are using the default 21 x 80 size). However, you can now write an input process with any frame size up to 35 x 128, and the client window will automatically expand to that size. The client window will also shrink if you run processes that have a smaller row/column size.Comments:Read what other users have said about this page or add your own comments.-- JeanNeron - 2012-10-30 |
