.XML WRITER CDAT START

This subroutine adds an opening cdata tag in the given XML file. Added in 6.2.0


Usage:

      PASS         <XML_stream_name>          FIELD            SHARE? N    
GOSUB --- .XML WRITER CDAT START * Check for errors IF --- .XML WRITER CDAT START NE

Description:

This subroutine adds an opening cdata tag (<![CDATA[) to an xml file. After calling this api, you can add data to the cdata tag by calling .XML WRITER ADD DATA api. You can close the cdata tag by calling .XML WRITER CDAT END api.

<XML_stream_name> is the name of XML stream that has been assigned during .XML WRITER OPEN api. This field is required and cannot be more than 22 characters.

You can check the value of --- .XML WRITER CDAT START field after the api call to check for errors.
