N PASS <start_from> FIELD SHARE? N PASS <len_from> FIELD SHARE? N GOSUB --- .TEXT INSERT AT POS * Check for errors IF --- .TEXT INSERT AT POS NE Description:This subroutine inserts characters into a text/alpha field. The first 3 parameters are required. If any required parameters are missing, the subroutine will CANCEL. <text_field> is the field to receive <from_field> (Required). This must be PASSed with Share "Y" to return the value. <insert_pos> is the starting position to receive the characters (Required). <from_field> are the characters to be inserted (Required). <start_from> is the starting position in <from_field> from which characters will be inserted (Optional). If not PASSed, will default to 1. <len_from> are the number of characters to insert (Optional). If not PASSed, then all character in <from_field> starting at <start_from> will be inserted. If <start_from> + <len_from> is longer than <from_field> it will be padded with blanks as required. | ||||||||
