The Import Pre-3.2 SQL Registration option on the System Setup menu is provided to satisfy a change in registration requirements. Starting with Release 3.2 of APPX, the APPX SQL Application is protected with an Application Lock. This lock requires a new SQL registration be added to your master APPX registration. This utility takes an existing SQL registration and generates the required Product Registration needed by the new Application Locking mechanism and adds it to your site registration. Before running this conversion, you must copy $APPXPATH/Q00/SQL/Data/PARAM.dat into a new file so that your current SQL registration is used. The name of this new file is $APPXPATH/0SA/Data/SQL.dat.
