ACCESS PATH

ACCESS PATH contains the current key access path of a file. At the present time, it cannot be modified.

However, when implemented, it may be set in the Option Intercept event point in input processes. This will allow the designer to set the key access path of a file during a user scan operation. Normally, a file is scanned using the primary key of the file but setting this predefined field would override that path.
