The ILF Editor

The ILF editor is an integrated facility within APPX that allows you to enter and modify ILF statements. You invoke the editor by selecting the appropriate event point option from the process component screen. The editor provides specialized entry options that allow you to develop and customize ILF routines. The editor checks each statement to ensure that you have followed the proper syntax rules, and prevents you from entering certain types of invalid data. The ILF editor is fully integrated with the data dictionary so all fields entered in statements are verified against the dictionary. Refer to Chapter 4-4 for details on how to use the ILF editor. An example of the ILF Editor is shown in Figure 4-1-1.
