Introduction to Subroutine Processes

Subroutine processes are reusable procedural programs that can be executed from other APPX processes. A program that converts one unit of measure to another, for example, can be created as a subroutine.

A subroutine process does not have frames, images, or automatic or optional children. After completing the specifications on the Processes screen to identify the subroutine process, you are automatically taken to the statement editor to define or modify ILF statements for the Subroutine event point.
