The Image Editor


Image editing (screen painting) refers to the APPX facility that allows you to format images for menus, input screens, and output. With image editor options, you design the visual presentation of each image and define specific operational parameters. As you design the image, you are seeing it exactly as it will appear to your users.

The Image Editor includes options to:

·    Format items (data dictionary fields) and objects on images.

·    Define background text and characteristics on images.

·    Establish data lookups to read data in related files.

·    Assign graphical attributes to images or image items or objects.
