Accessing the Data Dictionary

You access the APPX Data Dictionary by selecting database management from the Application Design menu or from various Toolbox menus. The Database Management menu overlay (Figure 2-1-1) includes options to edit each dictionary component, domains, files/fields, and work fields, and to process the dictionary. Each of the Data Dictionary options is described in detail in the chapters that follow. Physical File Management is covered in Chapter 3, Database Management, of the System Management Manual.
