Rules for Statement Components
Each ILF statement consists of a number of words, symbols, phrases, and special characters that together represent a specific logical operation for the system to perform. Although each statement has a unique syntax, most of the individual statement components are derived from a common set of items that are used in several statement types. The following sections describe the most widely used statement components.
