APPX Processes

The data dictionary, described in the previous chapter, provides the central location for file and data information for an APPX application. The other key components of an application are the processes you develop. A process consists of a set of related specifications and ILF routines to perform one or more desired operations. Processes include references to data dictionary specifications. There are nine types of APPX processes: Menu, Job, Input, Output, Update, Query, Inquiry, Status, and Subroutine.
