Audit Trail

APPX provides for an automatic audit trail within the data dictionary by the use of audit fields (i.e., system fields or system domain fields). These fields track when and by whom records are updated for a file within an APPX input process, as described below:

·     Date-added fields contain the date or date/time that the record was added to a file.

·     Date-changed fields initially contain the date or date/time that the record was added to a file, and are updated each time any user modifies the record.

·     User-added fields contain the user ID of the person who originally added the record to a file.

·     User-changed fields initially contain the user ID of the person who added the record to a file, and are updated each time any user modifies the record.
